Obverse description Draped bust of Elector Charles Theodore facing right, with flowing hair tied at the nape, set within a beaded border. The circumferential Latin legend reads D:G.CAR.THEODOR.C.P.R.S.R.I.A.T.&.EL., identifying the ruler by the grace of God as Count Palatine of the Rhine, Arch-Treasurer and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire. The portrait is rendered in a restrained late-Baroque style with fine detail in the drapery and facial features. A date element appears within the legend field at lower right.

Reverse description Central shield bearing the Palatinate arms, with a concave or curved-inward outline, surmounted by an elaborate electoral crown. The shield is flanked by decorative mantling and set within a beaded border. The circumferential Latin legend AD NORMAM CONVENTION., referencing the Convention monetary standard, is divided around the crown. The denomination numeral 10 and the date year appear in the lower portion of the field, indicating the coin's value of 10 Kreuzer struck to Convention standard.
