Obverse description Draped bust of Margrave Charles Frederick of Baden facing right, depicted with curled and flowing hair dressed in the style of the period. The effigy shows fine engraving detail in the clothing and facial features. The encircling Latin legend reads CAROLUS FRID:D.G.M.BAD & H., with a mint letter below the bust. The portrait is executed in a restrained Baroque style typical of German princely coinage of the late eighteenth century.

Reverse description Crowned baroque coat of arms of Baden displayed centrally, flanked on either side by decorative laurel branches. The denomination '10' appears below the shield, and the date is incorporated at the end of the encircling Latin legend. The mintmaster's initials appear alongside the date within the legend, providing attribution to the responsible official. The overall composition is symmetrical and consistent with German territorial coinage conventions of the period.
