Obverse description The obverse features the quartered coat of arms of the Czech and Slovak Federative Republic (ČSFR), depicting in the upper-left and lower-right quarters the Bohemian lion rampant, in the upper-right quarter the Slovak double cross on a triple hill, and in the lower-left quarter the Moravian eagle. The national arms occupy the right portion of the field, while the large denomination numeral '10' appears prominently to the left. The country abbreviation 'ČSFR' is inscribed along the upper rim, with 'Kčs' and the date of issue below the arms. The engraver's initials 'JTS' appear at the lower center of the field beneath the arms.
