| Obverse description | Bare-headed bust of Emperor Alexander II facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curled hair. The portrait is set within a beaded inner border, with the Cyrillic imperial legend arranged around the periphery reading 'АЛЕКСАНДР ПЕРВЫЙ Б.М. ИМПЕРАТОР ВСЕРОС' (as visible on the coin image). Two small six-pointed stars flank the base of the portrait at the lower field.
