Reverse description
The reverses of Ukrainian coins depict symbolic figures (on the 10 hryvnias coin) and fields (on the 10 zlotys coin) sitting at the same table covered with a tablecloth, drinking bread and wine. This is a symbolic composition that is inherent in the traditional manifestations and customs of both neighboring Slavic peoples: to share bread means to live in goodness and harmony, to be friends, to help in times of need. To break bread is to share fate, the highest degree of affection and pleasantness. Sitting at the same table and drinking wine from the same cup means mutual love and respect. Drinking from a common cup symbolizes unity, brotherhood. If two coins are folded together, the ornament in the lower part forms a flower - a symbol of hope, life and development.
