| Reverse description | The reverse presents a large stylized snowflake occupying the central field, its arms rendered with polished mirror surfaces contrasting against a frosted background. Surrounding the snowflake, multiple pictograms of winter Olympic sports athletes — including cross-country skiing, biathlon, figure skating, speed skating, and ski jumping — are depicted in dynamic poses across matte-finish panels arranged around the perimeter. To the right of center, the five interlocked Olympic rings logo is shown above the inscription 'UKRAINE' and the Ukrainian state coat of arms (tryzub). The curved upper legend reads 'ХХІІІ ЗИМОВІ ОЛІМПІЙСЬКІ ІГРИ' in Cyrillic along the top rim. |

| Additional information |
Ukraine has issued commemorative coins for nearly every Winter Olympics since the late 1990s, but the 2018 series marking the Pyeongchang Games was produced against an unusually fraught backdrop — the country was in its fourth year of armed conflict in the Donbas, with the hryvnia having lost roughly two-thirds of its value since 2014. The National Bank simultaneously managing a currency crisis and a prestige silver program is a tension the catalog number doesn't capture.
