Obverse description The obverse is divided into two distinct halves by an ornate arched architectural frame rendered in high relief, evoking the interior of St. Volodymyr's Cathedral. To the left, in monochrome silver relief, stands a full-length icon-style depiction of Saint Volodymyr the Great, crowned and robed in princely vestments, his name inscribed in Old Church Slavonic lettering flanking the figure. To the right, rendered in vivid selective color, is a reproduction of a celebrated cathedral fresco depicting a winged angel in blue and gold plumage, holding a scroll. At the upper center, the Ukrainian trident coat of arms appears within a shield beneath the Cyrillic country name УКРАЇНА, while the denomination 10 ₴ and the date 2023 are inscribed at the lower center. The curved architectural legend running along the arch reads СВЯТИЙ ВОЛОДИМИРСЬКИЙ КАФЕДРАЛЬНИЙ ПАТРІАРШИЙ СОБОР.

Reverse description The reverse depicts the interior apse of St. Volodymyr's Cathedral in Kyiv in finely detailed silver relief, faithfully reproducing the cathedral's celebrated Byzantine-Revival decoration. At the center of the composition, set within a rounded apse niche, is a monochrome relief rendering of the iconic fresco of the Oranta-type Virgin Mary holding the Christ Child, flanked by attendant archangels with outstretched wings. Below the apse, an ornate Orthodox cross in high relief dominates the middle field, above a semicircular vaulted entrance rendered with intricate architectural detailing. The lateral pilasters and flanking panels are highlighted with selective gold-tone gilding, showcasing elaborate floral and geometric ornamental motifs characteristic of the cathedral's interior. An inscription in Church Slavonic script runs horizontally across the lower portion of the apse scene, referencing the Eucharistic words of institution.
