| Reverse description | The reverse depicts Pylyp Orlyk standing at centre within a beaded circle, his right arm raised and his left hand holding an unfurled scroll representing the Constitution of 1710, surrounded by his Cossack companions-in-arms. In the annular band between the beaded inner circle and the coin's outer edge, the Cyrillic legend ПИЛИП ОРЛИК arcs above, with the dates of his life 1672 - 1742 inscribed below left. The composition is executed in high relief with fine engraved detail characteristic of Ukrainian proof coinage of this period. |
