| Obverse description | At the upper portion of the square field, Ukraine's small state coat of arms (trident) is prominently displayed, flanked to the left by the legend УКРАЇНА and to the right by the issue year 2019. The central motif presents a conventionalized fragment of the upper tier of the famous Scythian pectoral, depicting a male figure holding an animal skin with a gorytos (bow-and-arrow case) visible behind him, rendered in fine relief. To the left of this figure appears the mint mark of the NBU Banknote Printing and Minting Works, accompanied by the fine metal weight designation Ag 999 and the weight 31.1. At the lower portion of the field, against a backdrop of a floral ornamental fragment drawn from the pectoral's middle tier, the face value 10/ГРИВЕНЬ is inscribed. |
