Issued in 2024 as part of Ukraine's ongoing wartime commemorative program, this coin takes its name from a Ukrainian folk proverb warning against provoking conflict — a pointed choice given the full-scale Russian invasion that began in February 2022. The National Bank of Ukraine has used its commemorative series aggressively since the invasion as instruments of both documentation and national resolve, with many issues selling out within hours of release.
