| Obverse description | The obverse displays, in the upper right, the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine above a vertical inscription УКРАЇНА (Ukraine), the face value numeral 10 with the hryvnia sign ₴ within the zero, and the metal and fineness designation Ag 999 31.1, followed by the mint mark of the NBU Banknote Printing and Minting Works. To the left, two vertical lines carry the dates and name 1926 ХУДОЖНИК / 2005 АНАТОЛІЙ БАЗИЛЕВИЧ, honouring the illustrator Anatolii Basylevych (1926–2005). A cohort of bare-chested Trojan warriors, clad in flowing crimson red garments and plumed helmets, advances in formation from right to left, each bearing a long spear or lance. In the lower left foreground, a large stylised chariot wheel rendered in relief occupies the corner, providing dramatic compositional depth. The colour application — predominantly red and black against a bright polished silver field — accentuates the heroic, folk-inspired artistic character of the design. |
