| Reverse description | The reverse presents the egg-shaped flan in its entirety as a pysanka — a traditional Ukrainian Easter egg — decorated in the regional style of Odesa oblast. A central eight-spoked radial motif with volute terminals radiates from a raised boss at the centre of the field, executed in gilt relief against a polychrome background of alternating green and black concentric bands. The field is divided vertically into two contrasting halves: the left rendered in deep green and black coloring and the right in white, faithfully replicating the wax-resist batik technique of authentic pysanka ornamentation. Spiral scrollwork terminates each spoke, evoking the solar and cosmological symbolism characteristic of Odesa oblast folk art. |
