| Reverse description | The reverse features five oval portrait medallions of Ukrainian Cossack Hetmans who ruled from Chyhyryn, arranged across the field and individually inscribed with their names in Cyrillic: БОГДАН ХМЕЛЬНИЦЬКИЙ (upper left, the largest medallion, depicted in elaborate hetman regalia), ЮРІЙ ХМЕЛЬНИЦЬКИЙ (lower left), ІВАН ВИГОВСЬКИЙ (centre), ПАВЛО ТЕТЕРЯ (centre right), and ПЕТРО ДОРОШЕНКО (right). The coat of arms of Chyhyryn is displayed at the top centre between the portraits. In the lower portion of the field, a detailed panoramic view of the historic Chyhyryn fortress and town is depicted in low relief, rendered in a cartographic-engraving style.
