| Reverse description | The reverse presents a dynamic battle scene commemorating the 350th anniversary of the Ukrainian Cossack victory at the Battle of Konotop (1659). At centre, a Cossack commander on a rearing horse brandishes a sabre, rendered in high sculptural relief against a mirror-polished field. To the left, a dense phalanx of pike-bearing infantry fills the background in lower relief, conveying the scale of the engagement. In the right middle field, a stylised silhouette of a fortified town alludes to Konotop itself. The Cyrillic inscription ПЕРЕМОГА В КОНОТОПСЬКІЙ БИТВІ arcs along the upper border, with the numeral 350 РОКІВ prominently displayed at the upper centre of the field. |
