| Obverse description | At upper right, the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine appears alongside the diagonal legend УКРАЇНА, while the denomination 10 ГРИВЕНЬ is inscribed diagonally at left. The central field features a stylized composition set against a background of concentric circles evoking a target motif, overlaid with a cartographic fragment of the Babyn Yar area rendered in a manner suggestive of blood splashes. At the center of this composition, a heart pierced by a bullet hole serves as a powerful symbol of the massacre. The semicircular legend БАБИН ЯР 1941 arcs above the central motif, with the issue year 2021 inscribed below. |
