| Obverse description | The obverse is centred on a portrait vignette of Ivan Mazepa, Hetman of the Zaporizhian Host (1687–1708), set against a fine multicolour guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral '10' appears at left and right, with the Cyrillic legends 'НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ' and 'ДЕСЯТЬ ГРИВЕНЬ' arranged around the central design, and the name 'Іван Мазепа' lettered beneath the portrait. A signature line for the Chairman of the Board of the Bank appears in the lower field. |
