Obverse description The central vignette presents a red-brown letterpress rendering of the local parish church, set against a plain ground and framed by an ornate blue border composed of radiating star-point motifs and stylised grape-cluster garlands. The denomination "10 HELLER" and the legend "Gutschein" appear twice in the upper corners in bold Gothic script, while a circular cartouche at the lower centre bears the municipal coat of arms flanked by decorative agricultural implements beneath the inscription "MARKT COMMUNE". The town name "Tragwein" is printed in large bold lettering along the lower margin, with the designer's signature and date visible at the very foot of the note.

Reverse description Printed entirely in blue-grey on buff paper, the reverse carries a dense Gothic-script text block at centre stating the municipality's liability guarantee, redeemable at the Gemeindekasse in legal tender until 30 April 1921. The denomination "10" appears on both lateral panels within star-burst frames decorated with grape-cluster motifs consistent with the obverse border design. Two manuscript facsimile signatures appear below the main text, introduced by the lines "Der Bürgermeister:" and "Der Bürgermeisterstellvertreter:", followed by the printed warning "Nachahmung strafbar" (counterfeiting is punishable) along the lower margin.
