| Obverse description | The obverse is set in a decorative Gothic blackletter style typical of Austrian Notgeld issues. To the left, an elaborate interlaced Celtic knotwork vignette occupies a vertical panel, initialled 'O.H.' at the lower left corner. To the right, the denomination '10 Heller' is rendered in large Gothic script alongside the issuer designation 'Gutschein der Gemeinde St.-Veit i.M.'. A lower text panel within a dotted border records the authorising municipal council resolution of 25 April 1920, the validity period to 31 December 1920, a counterfeiting warning, and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister Joh. Hammerstorfer. |

The central panel contains a detailed architectural line-engraving of Schloss St. Veith as it appeared circa 1500, captioned accordingly at the foot. The right panel bears the locality name 'St. Veit i.M.' above a period figural vignette of a standing nobleman with a child at his feet, labelled 'Seyfriedt Hagen'. |
