Obverse description Light green and dark ink Notgeld note with a central oval vignette of the local parish church, rendered in a woodcut-style line illustration with a clock tower surmounted by an onion dome set against a clouded sky. Denomination numerals '10' appear in circular chain-bordered cartouches at left and right, with the issuer's name in Gothic script across the upper field and validity date 'Giltig bis 30. Dezember 1920' at lower left. The printer and designer credits are inscribed in small letterpress text along the bottom margin.
Obverse lettering Gutschein der Gemeinde St. Leonhard am Walde :: 10 Heller Giltig bis 30. Dezemb. 1920 Nachahmung wird gesetzl. bestraft Entwurf: Anton Rohrhofer. — Druck v. F. Kielar, Amstetten.
Reverse description Uncoloured note with a left-side vignette in woodcut style showing Saint Leonard seated before a rustic doorway, accompanied by farmyard animals including a cow and poultry, framed by an oak-leaf and branch border. To the right, the issuer's name and denomination are set in Gothic letterpress script, with the denomination '10 Heller' enclosed in a dotted circular cartouche at upper right, below which three official signatories — Bürgermeister, Vicebürgermstr., and Gemeinderat — are identified by title and handwritten name. A guarantee clause in a ruled panel at the foot pledges municipal redemption of the note at face value in lawful currency.
