| Obverse description | Dark reddish-brown letterpress note printed on cream paper, enclosed within a double-ruled border with decorative scroll vignettes at left and right. The denomination '10' is set in a large bold numeral at centre, integrated into the word 'Heller' split across a rectangular panel; above, the issuing authority inscription spans the full width in Gothic script. A guarantee clause appears in two lines flanking the central panel, and the place name 'Sigmundsherberg' with the date '1. Mai 1920' is inscribed below. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot, attributed to the Vicebürgermeister at left and the Bürgermeister at right, each preceded by their respective title in print. |
