| Obverse description | Brown letterpress Notgeld note with a wavy-line guilloche underprint forming the background. A central rectangular vignette presents a landscape view of Lichtenberg, with alpine mountains, farmhouses, and dramatic clouds rendered in a woodcut-like style. Flanking the vignette on either side are two identical town coat-of-arms cartouches tied with ribbons, and below the vignette the denomination numeral "10" is set between two columns of German text stating validity conditions and warning against counterfeiting, with the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature and the date "Saalfelden, im Juli 1920" at the foot. |
