Obverse description Typeset Notgeld printed in dusky rose on cream paper, enclosed within a plain rectangular border. The denomination numeral '10' appears in all four corners, with the issuer name 'Gemeinde Ranshofen' and 'Gutschein' set in Gothic blackletter script across the upper portion, and the value 'Zehn Heller' rendered in large ornamental Gothic lettering at centre. The lower portion carries a multi-line redemption clause signed by Georg Groß as Bürgermeister, an anti-counterfeiting warning, and the printer's imprint.

A heraldic episcopal coat of arms with supporters occupies the upper left, while the denomination '10 h' is set in bold Gothic numerals at upper right.
