| Reverse description | Printed in green on cream paper, the reverse carries a bold woodcut-style vignette at right portraying two prehistoric lake-dwellers working at the water's edge beside timber pile-dwelling supports, evoking the region's ancient Mondsee culture archaeological heritage. At left, the denomination '10 Heller' is again rendered in large letterpress type, beneath which a redemption text block states the conditions and validity of the Notgeld, signed by the Bürgermeister. The inscription 'Mondsee in Oberösterr.' appears along the lower right, with the designer's name 'Reisenbichler' printed in small type at the bottom centre, all enclosed within the same rope-pattern decorative border. |
