| Obverse description | The obverse carries a finely printed bird's-eye vignette of Schloss Grainstein (Schloß Graimstein), a hilltop castle complex rendered in a detailed engraved style with surrounding landscape, trees, and a compass rose legend at lower right. A decorative cartouche at upper centre bears the castle's name in Gothic script, with a heraldic device at the upper left corner. The whole is enclosed within a plain rectangular border printed on buff-toned paper. |
