| Obverse description | Printed entirely in red-orange on buff paper, the obverse is framed by a rectangular border of interlocking chain ornament with Art Nouveau scroll volutes at the lateral margins. The place name 'Lochen' appears in large decorative blackletter script across the upper portion, while a central vignette presents a landscape view of Gebertsham — a Gothic ruin amid trees and rolling hills — captioned at upper left within the vignette frame. The denomination numeral '10' is repeated in bold type at the lower left and lower right, flanking the central vignette, with the designer's name 'SEPP AUER' inscribed in small capitals below the border. |
