| Obverse description | Kassenschein (emergency cash note) issued by the Stadt Korneuburg, with the denomination presented in a central ornamental cartouche reading 'HELLER' flanked by a large roman numeral 'X' to the right, surrounded by decorative guilloche-style borders and small rosette ornaments. Below the vignette, a liability clause in German text states that the municipality of Korneuburg guarantees this obligation with all its movable and immovable assets, dated Korneuburg, März 1920. The note bears the title 'DER BÜRGERMEISTER' with three manuscript signatures for the Bürgermeister and two Vizebürgermeister at the foot. |
