| Obverse description | Printed in black on a pale green underprint, the obverse is laid out in a typographic letterpress style with a decorative guilloche border. The denomination numeral "10" appears in two circular dark vignettes at upper left and right, flanking the title "Gutschein" in blackletter script above the written value "zehn Heller der Marktgemeinde Aflenz." A three-line statutory notice referencing the decree of the State Finance Office dated 18 August 1920 occupies the central text block, followed by the issue date "Aflenz, 1. November 1920" and two manuscript signature lines for the Finanzreferent and Bürgermeister. |

The denomination inscription "Gutschein über 10 Heller der Marktgemeinde Aflenz" runs vertically along the left margin in blackletter script, while "Heller 10 Heller" is printed vertically along the right margin. An ornamental border composed of repeating dot-and-scroll motifs and rows of "X" characters frames the entire composition. |
