| Obverse description | Violet on buff paper. The note is framed by an ornate letterpress border with decorative corner rosettes and scroll motifs. The heading "Gutschein der Gemeinde Garsten" is set in Gothic script at the top, with the denomination "Zehn Heller" in large blackletter type on a dark central cartouche. Two oval vignettes flank the denomination panel — the left bearing a miner's crossed-hammers emblem and the right an agricultural tool device — while numeral "10" appears in the lower corners. The lower half carries the redemption text and three manuscript signatures beneath the titles of the Bürgermeister and two Vizebürgermeister, with the anti-counterfeiting warning "Die Nachahmung wird gesetzlich bestraft" at the foot. |

The heading "Gemeinde Garsten." appears in Gothic script above the vignette, with the factory identification "Firma Josef Reithoffer's Gummi u. Kabelwerke" inscribed within the image. The denomination "10 HELLER" and "HELLER 10" with an interlaced monogram ornament is printed in bold letterpress along the lower margin within a dotted outer border. |
