Reverse description The crowned shield of the Netherlands, bearing a rampant lion holding a sword and bundle of arrows, is centrally placed and flanked by the divided date 19-73. The inscriptions NEDERLAND and 10 GULDEN arc vertically along the left and right sides of the shield respectively, filling the field. The design is clean and heraldic in character, with fine engraving detail on the crown and lion. A beaded border frames the entire composition.
