| Obverse description | At center, the crowned coat of arms of the Netherlands Antilles, displaying five six-pointed stars on a shield beneath a royal crown, flanked by the denomination numerals '10' to the left and the initial 'G' (Gulden) to the right. Below the shield, a decorative scroll ribbon bears the motto 'LIBERTATE UNANIMUS' in Latin. The date '2001' appears in the lower field, and the curved legend 'NEDERLANDSE ANTILLEN' runs along the lower periphery. Two small mint marks appear in the field on either side of the shield. |

Superimposed in the lower left of the field are two gold-colored inlaid coin reproductions: the obverse and reverse of a Byzantine solidus of Emperor Anastasius I, referencing the historical coinage circulating during Clovis's reign. The inscription '466 - 511' appears in the upper left field and 'CLOVIS I' curves along the upper right periphery. A small engraver's mark is visible at lower right. |
