| Obverse description | The obverse is rendered in a bold constructivist palette of violet, blue, red, and gold, dominated by the large numeral '10' in a central diamond-shaped guilloche vignette with the prefix 'NEG'. To the lower left, an abstract sunburst rosette and stylised particle-stream motif represent the kingfisher (IJsvogel, Alcedo atthis ispida), identified by its Latin and Dutch names in the lower centre field.
