Obverse description Black intaglio on green guilloche underprint. A central cartouche carries the bank title 'DE CURAÇAOSCHE BANK' on a curved ribbon above the bearer clause 'betaalt aan Toonder' and the denomination 'TIEN GULDEN' in bold letterpress, with the place and date 'CURAÇAO 1920' below. The denomination numeral '10' appears in all four corners within ornamental frames, the whole enclosed by an intricate geometric border with diamond and lozenge motifs, and two manuscript signatures appear at the foot of the note.
