| Obverse description | Central vignette portrays Catherine Flon Arcahaie in the act of sewing the first Haitian flag in 1803, rendered in intaglio against a multicolour guilloche underprint. The denomination numeral '10' appears at left and right, with the issuing authority inscription and the designation 'CATHERINE FLON ARCAHAIE 1803' positioned below the central vignette.
