| Obverse description | Green letterpress note divided into two vertical panels by a decorative border. The larger left panel carries the full text of the issue within a guilloche frame, with the denomination 'Zehn Goldpfennig' in large Gothic script at centre. The narrower right stub panel bears the numeral '10 / Goldpfennig' in green, a red serial number prefixed 'Nr.' with series designation 'REIHE B' below, and the approval legend of the Reichsminister der Finanzen above; a security text relating to backing by Reichsgoldanleihe and Goldschatzanweisungen appears at the top of the stub. Two manuscript signatures appear at the foot of the main panel above the printed titles 'Vorsitzender' and 'Syndikus', with the printer's imprint 'Johannes Pässler, Dresden-N.' along the bottom margin. |

| Reverse description | The reverse is printed in grey-blue and centres on a large ornate guilloche medallion set within elaborately rendered foliate scrollwork. At the centre of the medallion sits the coat of arms of Saxony — the barry of ten or and sable with a crancelin in bend — rendered in fine intaglio style. The numeral '10' appears in each of the four corners accompanied by the legend 'GOLDPFENNIG' above and below, and a single line of anti-counterfeiting text in small Gothic script runs along the lower centre margin. |
