Reverse description Circular legend `ROLAND GARROS 1888 - 1918`. In the center, a Morane-Saulnier type N aircraft and a bust of Roland Garros. Under the plane the signature `H. DUETTHE`. Roland Garros (1888-1918) was an aviation pioneer. On September 23, 1913, he made the first crossing of the Mediterranean.
