| Obverse description | Bare-headed left-facing effigy of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair. The portrait, modelled by engraver Pierre Turin, occupies the central field with naturalistic sculptural quality. A beaded inner border frames the design.
