Reverse description The central field features a rectangular panel bearing the Vichy State motto 'TRAVAIL FAMILLE PATRIE' in three lines, surmounted above the denomination '10 FRANCS' and date '1941', all enclosed between two vertical dividing lines. To the left of the panel, a relief group depicts two adults embracing a child, symbolising Family; to the right, two muscular male figures engaged in agricultural labour represent Work. The word 'ESSAI' appears in the lower exergue, confirming the trial strike status. The engraver's signature 'GALLE J.' is inscribed at lower left. The overall composition is executed in a bold Art Deco style characteristic of French official coinage of the period.
