| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Marianne, rendered in a refined Art Deco style characteristic of Bazor's work. The figure wears her hair pinned up beneath a small cap, with delicate facial features in high relief. The legend REPUBLIQUE arcs to the left of the field and FRANÇAISE to the right, with the word ESSAI appearing in small letters above the neck truncation. The date 19-29 is divided and positioned in the lower field on either side of the bust. |
