Reverse description A seated peasant woman, rendered in fine intaglio line engraving, occupies the right portion of the note, resting pensively with her chin on her hand beside a sheaf of wheat. A large circular blank watermark zone dominates the left field, surrounded by an ornate border of grapevine and leaf motifs in blue. The numeral 10 appears in the lower left, with the issuer's name in a rectangular cartouche at the bottom centre.
