| Reverse description | The reverse features a highly detailed rendering of two maple leaves on a stem, occupying the central field as the principal design element, commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf bullion coin series. A stylized globe motif is depicted in the lower field beneath the leaves. To the left, a circular cartouche bears the inscription '40th Anniv.' The curved legend ICONS OF THE WORLD 2022 arcs along the upper periphery, while the fineness and weight specifications .9999 FINEST GOLD 1/200 OZ OR PUR are inscribed along the lower border. |

| Additional information |
Rwanda has operated an unusual niche in the modern bullion and collector coin market, licensing its name to a rotating cast of international minting programs with little connection to the country itself. This fractional gold piece belongs squarely to that tradition — a nominal Rwandan issue produced for the European collector market, almost certainly struck by a European private mint under license.
At 0.155 grams, it contains roughly 1/200th of a troy ounce of fine gold — a size driven entirely by price-point marketing rather than any monetary or historical imperative.
