Rwanda has no historical connection to HMS Victory or the Battle of Trafalgar, but the National Bank of Rwanda has operated a prolific numismatic licensing program for decades, issuing collector coins tied entirely to global themes for foreign retail markets. Victory herself survives as the world's oldest naval vessel still in commission, permanently drydocked at Portsmouth since 1922 and still listed on the Royal Navy's active register.
