| Obverse description | Within the transparent acrylic disc, a three-dimensional laser-engraved depiction of the German tall ship Gorch Fock occupies the upper field, rendered with fine detail showing the vessel's full rigging, three masts with furled sails, and hull at waterline. Below the ship, a standing lion facing left is positioned to the left of the denomination and date inscriptions.
