The Duesenberg Model SJ, introduced in 1932, was the supercharged variant of the already-formidable Model J — producing around 320 horsepower at a time when most American cars managed a fraction of that figure. Only 36 SJ chassis were ever built. The Democratic Republic of Congo has issued collector coinage tied to foreign subjects with no geographic connection to the issuing country, a pattern common among small-denomination sovereign mints monetizing the collector market rather than circulating currency.
