The animal is depicted emerging from a rocky Alpine outcrop, rendered with naturalistic relief and fine engraving detail. The engraver's signature 'G. VONZUN' appears in the right field of the centre. The surrounding brass ring carries the Romansh inscription 'PARC NAZIUNAL SVIZZER' arcing along the lower portion, referencing the Swiss National Park. |
