| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of the Democratic Republic of Congo occupies the central field, depicting a leopard's head facing front flanked by two crossed elephant tusks and a spear, with a crescent above and a ribbon inscribed PAIX at the base. The motto words JUSTICE and TRAVAIL appear on the tusks to the left and right respectively. The circular legend DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO arcs across the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering, while the denomination 10 FRANC is inscribed along the lower rim.
