Obverse description Central design features a raised circular cartouche enclosing the Arabic numeral '١٠' (10) above the Arabic legend 'فلوس' (Fils) in stylized script. The country name in Arabic 'الكويت' is inscribed along the upper periphery within the milled border, while the Latin legend 'KUWAIT' runs along the lower periphery. The flat field between the central cartouche and the legends is plain, giving the design a clean, geometric character typical of mid-twentieth-century Gulf coinage.
