Obverse description The Holy Crown of Saint Stephen rendered in fine relief occupies the central field, depicted with its characteristic pendant chains, cross-tipped arches, and the distinctive leaning cross surmounting the orb at the apex. The date appears in the lower field beneath the crown, flanked by small ornamental rosettes. The circular Latin legend MAGYAR KIRÁLYI VÁLTÓPÉNZ curves around the upper and lateral periphery, separated from the inner design by a continuous inner beaded border. A small six-pointed star is placed at the bottom of the legend, serving as a punctuation mark. The overall design is executed in a precise, engraved style within a toothed outer rim.
