| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Sun Yat-sen occupies the central field, rendered in low relief. A horizontal Chinese legend arching above the effigy reads the date in the Republic of China calendar (Year 30 of the Republic, corresponding to 1941). The entire design is contained within a decorative beaded or rope border, typical of the 6th series pattern coinage style. |
