Issued as part of the Monnaie de Paris "Coupe de France de Rugby" series, this piece commemorates the Racing Club Toulonnais — better known internationally as RC Toulon — in the period immediately preceding their historic run of three consecutive European Champions Cup titles from 2013 to 2015. The club had just returned to the upper tier of French rugby after a financially troubled period in the early 2000s that had seen them relegated.
