Reverse description A dramatic library scene fills the field, depicting floor-to-ceiling bookshelves laden with volumes flanking a central doorway through which the silhouette of a standing figure is cast in sharp relief. In the foreground, a female figure wearing a flower-adorned brim hat lies prostrate on an ornate patterned rug, with open books scattered around her, evoking a classic detective fiction tableau. The portrait in the lower left foreground bears a likeness consistent with Agatha Christie, the celebrated author of 'The Body in the Library'. The title legend 'UN CADAVRE DANS LA BIBLIOTHEQUE' is integrated decoratively into the bookshelves across the upper and left fields, and the date '2026' appears in the lower exergue. The composition was engraved by Joaquin Jimenez.
